Compatibility To Mixed Aviary Life
Budgies are very happy in a mixed aviary but I’m not sure if that is true of all the birds that are with them! I know there are people who say they have had no problems but we moved our canaries and diamond doves out of the aviary to a different set up as they suffered several small unexplained injuries and I didn’t want to leave it until a worse injury occurred.
The budgies however are a delight to watch in the aviary they love their toys and swings and the excitement of a bowl of greens is worth sitting and watching for half an hour with a cup of coffee! They are colourful and active and hardy little birds although they do seem to prefer sitting inside on cold days.
